TROPHY AT SLYNE WITH HEST
This morning Slyne with Hest primary school were the next to see the special EFL Playoff trophy in a week of special community visits.
Each class at Slyne with Hest got a photograph with the piece of silverware history Morecambe lifted two weeks ago at Wembley. It was great to see more happy faces and the footballing buzz going strong in the community.
Slyne with Hest primary know what it’s like to lift a trophy at Wembley! Back in 2012 they lifted the EFL Kids Cup trophy. All 92 EFL clubs at the time hosted their own tournaments and their winning school went on to represent the club. Morecambe had Slyne to represent the shrimps and their great hard work and determination won them the whole competition in the end!
