OVERTON PRIMARY SEE PLAYOFF TROPHY
Today Overton Primary got the special visit from our team with the EFL Playoff trophy for league two. Today was the fourth visit of the week in what has been a busy time around the community.
There were a number of children at Overton that were lucky enough to see the Morecambe Wembley win in person on May 31st! The football mad select few certainly enjoyed having their class photos with the rest of their friends.
As we have done at each primary school this week we’ve visited; every class got a photo next to the trophy. It’s a piece of silverware history for the club which is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see in person!
We have certainly enjoyed visiting our local schools that we have those strong partnerships with. Giving something back to them by being able to show them the trophy and keep the footballing buzz going strong around Morecambe.
